Eight new Toronto Condos are ready to join the list of Toronto’s 15 tallest buildings.
Most are hotel-condominium combinations that are more prevalent in other cities like New York, Chicago, even Hong Kong.
I have seen the Shangri-La in Hong Kong and it is very impressive both as a Hotel and also as a Condominium. The restaurants and bars are all world class and it would be exciting to live there as well as enjoy all the facilties they have to offer.
Some of the new buildings planned are the new Four Seasons, 1 Bloor East, College Park Residences, Bay and Adelaide Centre(Office Tower), Sapphire Tower, Shangri-La, Ritz Carlton Toronto, Signature Tower, Trump International Hotel and Tower and Maple Leaf Square.
We look forward to these new skyscrapers joining the Toronto cityscape and also the fact that even more people will call downtown Toronto their home.

Solid investments in hot spot areas in Toronto, Remax advised recently. Again it was location, location, location. Older neighbourhoods close to the central core that are affordable like Parkdale, Swansea and Roncesvalles have all benefited from the recent renovation boom.
Most of these areas have undergone considerable revitalization with home owners investing their money in their home and the community they live in.
Surprisingly three of the top six preforming markets are located in the city centre. This is a very good sign that buyers are still interested in the central areas said Remax in a recent report.
Toronto Condominiums and Townhomes in three districts reported double-digit gains in average price.
In terms of percentage increase we have Hoggs Hollow, York Mills and the Bridle Path all in the C12 area averaging 21.78 per cent.
Humber Heights, Kingsview Village and Richview, all in W09 reported 12.79 per cent gains.
In the C02 area, Yorkville, Annex, Summerhill and South Hill averaged 11.31 per cent.
Toronto Condominiums in the Central core also saw the greatest increase, with the average price rising 5.9 per cent.

Toronto lifestyle patterns are changing throughout the Greater Toronto Area, resulting in Toronto moving skyward.
Due to the ageing of the population with their plans to downsize and at the same time younger people moving to Toronto we have a tremendous amount of condominiums being built and even more Toronto Condos planned for the near future. The condominium is now desired as a new way of Toronto life.
Even dedicated suburban builders like Aspen Ridge, Heathwood Homes and Tribute Communities are beginning to actively move into the Toronto urban Condo market because more and more buyers are looking at Condos as a way of life now.
The Toronto Condo High Style is moving ahead with a lot of exciting new projects coming on the market and a lot more planned in the near future. You can view new Toronto Real Estate listings on my website.
